Frequently asked questions.
Why should I get a massage?
You are getting 90 minutes of one-on-one attention in a safe and relaxing environment. In addition to the countless benefits of massage in general (performance improvement, stress relief, reduce tension, decrease pain), I check (ABCDE method) your skin for any areas of concern and trend tension/muscle health/gait/range-of-motion/posture.
Step away from the fight-or-flight stress and enter a healing parasympathetic state! Plus it feels good taking care of yourself!
Why do you charge less with all of your experience and specialized training?
I want to help as much as the community as I can and I am passing the savings of not paying for retail space and social media advertising on to you.
What if you can’t help me?
If we have a mutual goal and you do not achieve it, there is no charge! I take time to listen to your needs and conditions and if my work is not the right fit, I will happily help you find your next step to better health.
What should I wear?
It’s always what you are comfortable with. My methods are more interactive/therapeutic in nature so a tank top (or t-shirt) and shorts are optimal. If wearing less, you will always be safely drapped.
I am allergic to pets/I want to avoid animals
No worries! We use a HEPA vacuum and clean between all clients. We can leave the pets upstairs to avoid any encounters. I am allergic to cats as well but Frankie doesn’t bother me because the massage room is clean and clear of any pet dander/odor. Just let us know! (And also let us know if you want Luna to stay in the room with you as well)
What about germs?
We are the cleanest place you can go. In addition to the cleaning, we also run our HEPA furnace daily and open windows to keep the air fresh. We will accommodate your request as best we can (first client of the day, or having air purifier on in room during session, for example)
Why are you not on social media/What was your other job?
I am a retired senior cybersecurity expert at the Federal Reserve Bank. Privacy and security are important to me, not social media companies.
